About us
GrandBright Software was founded in early 2009 by two software developers with an entrepreneurial streak. Prior to founding the company, we became unhappy with our day jobs and frustrated by the quality and maintainability of the software that we were forced to produce. Working in a constrained environment of bad process, politics, and red tape, our customers just did not get the quality product that they deserved. We left full time employment and set up a small office from where we could develop software that we really cared about - software that would give our customers long term value.
After a year and a half we had produced the first version of a Software Development Kit (SDK) geared toward development of highly scalable web applications. The SDK enabled us to quickly build our test application, Mail Yebo, which is now running on ten servers and hosts web mail for many users. This was proof that web applications could be built quickly and accurately through our innovation. By allowing our developers to concentrate on the needs of the business, and less on the technology, we had proven that we could save our customers months of development time as well as significant cost.
Now, sometime on, we are successfully bringing our SDK to new customers, and we are continuing to develop software that will bring our customers even more advantages. Enhancements are continually being made to our SDK and we are also developing SDKs for different platforms. We have introduced software development methodologies, processes, and standards, that allow us to accurately deliver the software you want. Our goal is to help our customers build, enhance, and maintain custom software and web applications that can grow with their organization and provide long term value.
