Cavet Technologies, LumiSmart
LumiSmart Intelligent Lighting Controller (ILC) is the first of a new class of Smart Grid-enabled lighting controllers that provide microprocessor-driven adaptive control of lighting circuits to reduce power consumption while providing an instant 30 per cent or more power reduction without replacing any existing lamps, ballasts or fixtures. The LumiSmart ILC is Internet-ready (with the addition of the upcoming LumiSmart DRC – Demand Response Control module) and will enable full remote “command and control” for utilities, property managers and customers, allowing for on-demand reaction to real-time electrical events. GrandBright Software is proud to announce that it is the company of choice to design and develop the server technology to support this large scale web based solution.
GlobalBlue
GlobalBlue, built for a Toronto based customer, is a mobile application that delivers marketing media to iPhone and Blackberry, based on blue tooth proximity. Requiring a scalable system that could handle hundreds of thousands of handset users, we utilized our Java SDK to quickly provide a marketing delivery platform and a SAAS solution for retailers to add marketing content, as well as reporting, logging, and administration. Once the basic system was in place we continued to add functionality as required by our customer. This ongoing project is now functioning in a production environment.
Mail Yebo
Mail Yebo is a scalable web mail solution that allows users to create multiple email accounts that are managed from a central portal. Based on our Java SDK, this application is the test bed for future SDK enhancements. Scaled file systems and databases put GrandBright’s technology under a lot of pressure to work seamlessly and without error. Our servers have been working for a year without as much as a reboot.
Neesus Datacom
Neesus Datacom are specialists in wireless access point technology. We recently helped Neesus complete a project porting software from eCos OS to the newer OpenWRT platform on up to date hardware. The development delivered complex features for enabling industrial plants to utilize wireless networking technologies.
Cool Chess Canada
Cool Chess Canada is an online chess game retail store. GrandBright software is tasked with delivering and maintaining the Cool Chess Canada website. GrandBright delivered the eCommerce solution efficiently and accurately as per the customer's requirements, and the site now supports several hundred visits a day and takes credit card and paypal payments from its rich user interface.
